Shot on a bitter cold day in NYC, this look could easily have read “ugh, its still winter”! Instead, the exuberant pineapple print pants from the Lyn Devon Spring 2015 Collection have our spirits soaring and our “google-ing” in overdrive as we search for the perfect lower latitudes getaway!

Devon drew on memories of glamorous women lounging poolside in heels and maillots from her time in the Bahamas as a young child.  Their flair for dressing and the beautiful pastel colors of Harbour Island provide the themes running throughout the collection.

The jacket in soft gray ultrasuede is a perfect new neutral for cool resort evenings and spring in the city. Devon’s 60’s inspired silhouettes get an update here as seen in the modern cropped flair of the pants. The sleeveless tunic with its woven open “cut-out” pattern echoes the pineapple pattern in the print pants. Gorgeous strappy sandals by Manolo Blahnik in a black and white dot pattern punctuate the playfulness of the entire ensemble.

For those of us who can’t head south for some tropical R & R, this ensemble sparks the attitude adjustment we need to carry us through to spring’s thaw.  Best of all, Devon’s production staff has been hard at work right here in Manhattan and she has just taken delivery of the entire collection.
